Holidays with a dog are wonderful — right up to the moment something comes up that they can't join. A mountain railway that doesn't take dogs. Dinner at a restaurant. A concert. A day on the slopes.
At that point you're choosing between leaving your dog alone in the apartment or giving up the plan. Neither is necessary. As a local dog sitter I take care of your dog for the hours you can't bring them along — by the hour, by the day or overnight.
What's included
- Pick-up directly at your chalet, hotel or holiday apartment
- A walk, day care or an overnight stay — whatever you need
- Bookable at short notice and for one-off dates
- Photos while your dog is with me, so you can enjoy your evening
- Care in English, German, French, Italian or Spanish
How it works
1. Message me first
Send me the date, the time and where you're staying. For one-off bookings, a day or two's notice is usually enough.
2. A quick introduction
We meet briefly before the first booking so your dog has already seen me once.
3. Enjoy your day
I collect your dog and bring them back. You get a message while we're out.
Who it's for
For holiday guests in Gstaad, Saanen, Schönried, Saanenmöser and the surrounding area — whether you're spending a week in a chalet or just here for the weekend. Especially in demand in winter, when dogs can't come on the slopes, and in summer for mountain railways and longer hikes.

Frequently asked questions
How late can I book?
For a single walk or a day of care, a day or two is usually enough. Over Christmas, New Year and the Swiss sports holidays, it's worth asking earlier.
What does holiday dog care cost?
The same prices as always: CHF 25 for a walk, CHF 120 for an overnight stay. There's no holiday or seasonal surcharge.
Will you come to my holiday apartment?
Yes. Pick-up and drop-off in Gstaad and the surrounding area are included in the price — hotels and chalets too.
What languages do you speak?
English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
